NICU service launched in Tangail

At the private level, the first Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) service has been inaugurated at Tangail. The (NICU) service was inaugurated at BURO Health Care at the city's Registrypara on Wednesday night with the initiative of the BURO Health Care Foundation.

While inaugurating, Prof. Mohammad Ali Khan (Direc­tor,Tangail Sheikh Hasina Medical College Hospital}, Abul Fazl Md Sahabuddin Khan (Civil Surgeon, Tangail District), Khandaker Sadiqur Rahman (Assistant Director of Tangail General Hospital), Syed Ibn Saeed (President of Bangladesh Medical Association, Tangail) Saida Khan Alam (Chairperson, BURO Health Care Foundation)  and Rahela Zakir, (Executive Member of BURO Health Care) were present on this occasion.

During the inauguration, the guests said that the BURO Health Care Foundation will conduct welfare activities by providing improved healthcare to all classes of people including the poor people of the country.  Establishing NICU is a part of this activity. They called upon all concerned with the hospital to work dedicatedly to provide better healthcare to the patients.
