New train stoppage inaugurated in Natore

A new stoppage of Panchagarh and Kurigram Express trains was inaugurated in Natore Railway Station on Tuesday. Shafiqul Islam Shimul, member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Railways and MP from Natore-2 constituency, inaugurated the stoppage by cutting ribbon. 

Natore Railway Station Master Ashok Kumar Chakrabarty, Natore Mayor Uma Chowdhury Jolly and others spoke at the inauguration ceremony with Md. Shariful Islam Sharif in the chair.

A total of 80 seats of these two trains have been allotted for Natore Station. From now on, passengers will be able to take these two trains from Natore railway station to go to Dhaka. 

During  the inauguration, MP Shafiqul Islam Shimul said the present government is working on the development of railways to ensure safe travel of passengers at the lowest possible cost. 

Among these establishment of new railways, expansion of railways, development of railway stations, introduction of new inter-city trains, introduction of e-ticketing to alleviate the suffering of the passengers are notable, he added.

The MP also said action plan adopted to make the railway journey more attractive in the coming days would be implemented expeditiously.
