New Sylhet-3 MP pays homage to Father of the Nation

Member of Parliament for the newly elected Sylhet-3 (South Surma, Fenchuganj and Balaganj) constituency Habibur Rahman Habib paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

Arriving at Tungipara at 5.30 pm on Monday (September 13), he along with the leaders of Sylhet District Awami League laid a wreath at the altar of Bangabandhu Mausoleum and paid deep homage.

After reciting the Holy Fateha and Durood, they prayed for the forgiveness of the souls of Bangabandhu and all the martyrs killed in his family on August 15, 1975, and wished good health and long life to Bangabandhu's worthy daughter, Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and her younger sister Sheikh Rehana.
