The special general meeting of Netrakona Press Club on constitution amendment was held at the press club on Friday night.
Kazi Abdur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Netrakona and ex-officio president of the club, presided over the meeting.
Advocate Abdul Hannan Ranjan, vice-president of Netrakona Press Club and president of press club constitution amendment committee, read out the proposed amendment to the construction while Babu Shyamalendu Paul, general secretary of the press club, conducted the meeting.
The meeting was addressed, among others, by Prof Tafsir Uddinn Khan, Abdul Mannan Talukder, Osman Gani Talukder, Advocate Nuruzzaman Nuru, Advocate Habiur Rahman, Advocate Sanawar Hussin Bhuyan, Jahangir Alam Sajal, M Muklesur Rahman Khan, Sonjoy Sarker, Lovelu Paul Chowdhury, Nazrul Islam Khan, Alphona Begum, Kamal Hussain, Anisur Rahman (Euro Anis) and Goutam Babul.
The proposed amendment to Netrakona Press Club constitution was passed unanimously after discussion widely.
