A Nepalese student studying at Rajshahi University tested Corona positive through no symptom of suffering from the viral disease has so far been found in him.
The Nepalese student was identified as Avishek Kumar Saha, a second year student of the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of RU.
Professor Asadul Islam, Warden of Shahid Mir Abdul Quiyum International Dormitory confirmed the incident. He said, there was no symptom of Corona in that student's body.
He went to Nepalese Embassy in Dhaka to return to his country when the embassy officials advised him to Corona test and on Saturday his test result was found positive. He is now under treatment at Christian Mission Hospital in Rajshahi and his physical condition is normal.
Professor Lutfar Rahman, Proctor of RU informed, the student is well both physically and mentally. All other foreign students who came in contact with his have been kept in isolation and the entire dormitory has been put under lockdown.
