Nezarat Deputy Collector (NDC) Aminul Haque Tareq, working in the Panchagarh District Commissioner's Office, has been awarded the National Award for Tobacco Control.
Nurjahan Begum, Advisor to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, officially presented the award in the category of Best Mobile Court Operator on World No Tobacco Day at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka last Saturday.
It is learned that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare took the initiative to give the national award for tobacco control for its commendable contribution to tobacco control across the country. Earlier, one ward, union, municipality, upazila and district of the country were selected for this award. Panchagarh NDC Aminul Haque Tareq received the award in the category of Best Mobile Court Operator in the District Task Force category. Since joining Panchagarh, this young officer has been doing administrative work with efficiency, including running the mobile court.
Panchagarh Nezarat Deputy Collector and Executive Magistrate Aminul Haque Tarek said, I am very happy. Any achievement increases the interest in work. This honor will encourage me further. We did well because everyone, including the Deputy Commissioner, cooperated. I hope that with everyone's cooperation and love, we will witness many good works.
