Awami League Jhenaidah district unit vice president, an independent candidate Nazrul Islam Dulal, fighting with the symbol Truck has urged the voters to cast their votes favouring his symbol to build the constituency Jhenaidah-1 (Shailkupa) free from terrorism, toll collection, village clash when the four lakh people of the upazila fallen victim of various forms of irregularities. He assured of present a Smart Upazila as desired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina if he was elected from the seat.
Dulal was sharing with the voters at Dhaurah Bazer, Bandekhali, Langalbandh, Manaharpur and Jangalia in Shailkupa on Monday. He inaugurated his campaign office at Dhaurah bazer in the evening. In separate campaigns the Truck symbol candidate said the people of the constituency have been oppressed by a section of politically influential leaders. Huge people are killed in the constituency comprising Shailkupa upazila, due to political rivalry even for a trifling issue.
As the anarchy situation was prevailing there, no real development was visible in last two decades. The people of the area want a dynamic elected representative to fulfill the dream “Smart Bangladesh” of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through the twelfth national polls scheduled for January 7.
Hundreds of people, especially, the women had welcomed the young and energetic aspirant.
Shailkupa municipality mayor Kazi Ashraful Azam, another AL vice president Sarwar Zahan Badsha, AL Shailkupa upazila unit ex general secretary Mustafa Arif Reza Mannu, Julfiqar Kaiser Tipu, Abul Kalam Azad Advocate and Mustaque Shikder among others accompanied the Nazrul Islam Dulal.
