Nayem Hasan Joarder, convener of district Jubo League and KM Monjilur Rahman were elected in Chuadanga Sadar and Alamdanga Upazila chairmen in the second phase of sixth Upazila election on Tuesday.
Nazmul Hamid Reja, ADM and Returning Officer said, Nayem Hasan Joarder got 50,811 votes while his nearest rival candidate Azizur Rahman bagged 36,172 votes in Sadar Upazila Election.
Meanwhile, Masudur Rahman and Masuma Khatun were elected as vice chairman and female vice chairman in the election.
KM Monjilur Rahman got 40,280 votes and his nearest rival candidate Jillur Rahman bagged 26,287 votes in Aladanga Upazila Parishad election.
Masum Billah and Monira Khatun were elected as vice chairman and female vice chairman in the Upazila.
