Bangladesh Navy has continued to provide relief and food items to the local poor and helpless people who were flooded by heavy rain and sea tide in Pekua of Cox's Bazar.
On Thursday in Pekua of Cox's Bazar, 3 thousand local poor and helpless families were given relief material and 1 thousand families were given cooked food.
Each family is given 07 days worth of rice, flour, dal, gram, salt, muri, chira, saline, pure water and water purification tablets along with various items and packaged (cooked) food among the families as food items.
Apart from this, the new submarine base at Pekua 'Banouja Sheikh Hasina' is providing all kinds of support as per the demand of the local administration. Its mentioned that this assistance program of the Navy will continue until the situation improves in the affected areas.
