In the flood-hit areas of Dhaka's Dohar upazila, Bangladesh Navy provided food and medical supplies to local destitute families on Thursday morning.
At Bilaspur and Mahmudpur areas of the upazila members of the Navy led by Lt. Commander Solaiman Kabir distributed water purification tablets, pure water, rice, pulses, oil, Chira, Muri, molasses, salt, candles and saline as food aid. Dohar Upazila Nirbahi Officer AFM Firoz Mahmud, Upazila Chairman Alamgir Hossain, UP Chairman Alauddin Mollah and others were present at the time.
Besides, on the same day, Dohar upazila administration distributed 300 baby food and cow feed worth Tk 2 lakh.
