The Chief of the Bangladesh Navy visited the New Mooring Container Terminal (NCT) at Chattogram Port.
Bangladesh Navy Chief Admiral M Nazmul Hasan inspected the activities of the New Mooring Container Terminal at Chittagong Port On Wednesday.
The Navy Chief hopes that the Chittagong Dry Dock Limited (CDDL) taking over the responsibility of NCT will further accelerate the operations of the Chittagong Port by increasing discipline, punctuality and efficiency.
During this time, he inspected the container handling activities at the NCT-2 Jetty area, the container examination activities at the appraisal point, and the terminal operation system at the CTMS building.
During this time, he provided necessary guidelines for the management of the port's activities to the officers and members of Chittagong Dry Dock Limited working in NCT and those involved in the port's activities.
Among others, Commander Chittagong Naval Region, Chairman of Chittagong Port Authority, Managing Director of CDDL, and senior military and civilian officials were present on the occasion.
Earlier, last Monday, the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) handed over the responsibility of operating NCT to Chittagong Dry Dock Limited.
