Shahida Begum, 35, gave birth to four babies in Natore on Saturday. The mother gave the birth at about 2:00 pm in Natore Sadar Hospital.
Among the babies, one is boy and three are girls. They are normally delivered one after another by their mother. They are also out of critical condition now, said the family sources.
However, the mother and the four babies were taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
Shahida is the wife of Milon of Vagnarkandi village under Singra upazila in Natore.
Milon, father of the four babies, said, “When Shahida’s labor pain arises in the morning, we admit her to the Natore Sadar Hospital. Later, Shahida gave birth of four babies through normal delivery at about 2:00 pm. We are now delighted over this birth of the four babies.”
Fazlul Kadir, the on duty doctor of Natore Sadar Hospital, said that Shahida gave birth of the babies normally. The four babies and their mother are out of critical condition now. But for the better treatment, they were referred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, he added.
