Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) on Tuesday observed National Tree Plantation Program-2023 with the slogan of “Plant trees and care, build a healthy generation country”.
CUET Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam inaugurated the program in the area adjacent to the pre-engineering building of the university on Tuesday morning.

Its known that 1000 fruit trees given to CUET as a gift by Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railway Ministry and Honorable Member of Parliament of Chattogram-6 (Raojan) ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP were planted in various places of the campus and teachers, officers and employees living in the residential area. The seedlings are distributed in between.
