National Mourning Day was observed at Kishoreganj with due respect of 15 August to make the 46th martyrdom anniversary of Father of a Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Sunday.
Marking the day Kishoreganj-01 Constitution MP Dr.\ Syeda Zakia Nur Lipi, District Administration, District Police and District Awami League and allied organizations laid wreaths at the temporary altar set up at the local Muktijoddha Sangsad premises.
A discussion meeting was held on Kishoreganj Collectorate conference room. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Nazmul Islam Sarker presided over the virtual meeting. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shamim Alam attended as chief guest. Police Super Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) was attended as special guest.
