Karnafuli Gas Distribution Company Limited conducted various programs throughout the day with respect and solemnity on the occasion of the 46th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day During the day-long program, the national flag was hoisted at half-mast and black flags of mourning were hoisted at the company, black badges were worn by all officers and employees, floral tributes were paid to the portrait of Father of the Nation, documentary on Bangabandhu's working life was screened. Milad and prayer ceremony, distribution of Tabarak to local orphanages etc. for the souls of all martyrs including Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib. MA Majed, Managing Director of the company was present as the chief guest in all the programs of the day.
It was attended by all the General Managers of company, Officers Welfare Association and CBA leaders and all employees.
KGDCL Managing Director MA Majed paid deep tribute to all the martyrs of August 15 including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu and Bangamata. During the discussion, he paid deep tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on this day of mourning.
