National Library Day was observed in Narail in a befitting manner on Saturday.
Quiz competition, discussion and prize distribution ceremony were held on the occasion of the day at the government public library conference room in Narail.
The programme was organised by the district government public library. A total of 50 students of grade 6, 7 and 8 in group A and grade 9 and 10 in group B from different educational institutions of the town participated in the quiz competition.
Narail Deputy Commissioner Md Habibur Rahman was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Narail Municipality Mayor Anjuman Ara, BRDB Deputy Director Sudip Kumar, Munshi Moazzem Hossain Foundation President Lt. Commander (Retd.) A. M. Abdullah, Supreme Court lawyer Md. Rahman among others were present as special guests.
