Street vendors are selling national flags at different places in Chuadanga district on the month of victory.
Tailors are noy busy in preparing national flags ahead of the Victory Day, to be celebrated on Wednesday.
Abdul Aziz, owner of Dallas Tailors, told the Bangladesh Post he has been making national flags as per the demand of buyers. Vendors have been selling different sizes of national flag tying with thin bamboos in the district.
Town dwellers and villagers of the district have been buying national flags for displaying in variety ways according to their artistic design.
Khandakar Shajahan, owner of New Shampa Garments in Chuadanga town told the Bangladesh Post he has been selling national flags different sizes like Tk. 200, Tk. 120, Tk. 60.
Shahid Khan, a freedom fighter said, he has been buying and flying national flag from victory day of December 16, 1971. He also said, he will be hoisting the national flag before his death.
