Nat’l Mourning Day observed at NSTU

Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) has observed the National Mourning Day and the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with many arrangements. 

On the morning of 15 August, the national flag was hoisted at half mast and the black flag was hoisted. Then the mourning rally started from the front of the administrative building which was led by NSTU VC Professor Dr. Md. Didar-ul-Alam and the rally ended with paying floral tributes at the mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Later, different associations of students, teachers, officials, different departments and many others paid floral tributes to the mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

After ending of the rally, a short discussion on the National Mourning Day was held in front of the administrative building where the chief guest was NSTU VC Professor Dr. Md. Didar-ul-Alam. Among others NSTU treasurer Professor Dr Moha­mmed Faruque Uddin, NSTUTA's President   Professor Dr Newaz Moha­mmed  Bahadur, NST­UTA's General Secretary Md Maznur Rahman, NSTU Abdul Malek Ukil Hall's Provost Professor Dr Firoz Ahmed, teachers, students, officials were present.
