As part of its Enhancing Women’s Participation and Leadership in Public Life, Naripokkho organised a four-day Digital Short Story Development Workshop for 30 young women from Dhaka, Chattogram and Rajshahi divisions.

The workshop was held from June 11 to June 14, 2026, at Setu Inn in the capital.

During the training, participants learned how to transform their leadership journeys, personal experiences and stories of social change into compelling digital narratives.

The hands-on workshop covered various aspects of digital storytelling, including story development, scriptwriting, video editing, audio enhancement, subtitle creation and effective presentation techniques for social media platforms.

The workshop was facilitated by communication specialist Nazia Jebin, with support from Simin Mushshrat and Anannya Farzana.

Naripokkho said the initiative aimed to amplify the experiences, struggles, achievements and contributions of young women leaders by enabling them to share their stories with wider audiences through digital media.

The organisation expressed gratitude to all participants, trainers and individuals involved in making the workshop successful.

According to Naripokkho, these digital stories are not merely accounts of personal experiences but also important testimonies of women's leadership, participation and empowerment in society.

The organisation believes that the stories produced by the participants will inspire many more young women to pursue leadership roles and highlight the importance of women's active participation in public life and decision-making processes.
