Narail doctor dies of coronavirus in Saudi Arabia

Doctor Afak Hossain Bacchu, 62, an orthopedic specialist from Macchimdia  area in Narail municipality, died from coronavirus in Madina of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. Dr Aafak's classmate additional public prosecutor (APP) of Narail sessions judge Court Advocate Alamgir Siddiqi confirmed the matter.  

Doctor Afak is the son of Amjad Hossain Master of Macchimdia in Narail Municipality. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, a son and a host of relatives and well-wishers. After the formalities,  the deceased doctor Afak Hossain Bachchu was buried after the funeral in Saudi Arabia on Thursday (April 2). 

Family sources said Dr Afak Hossain Bacchu was working as an orthopedic specialist at Safa Al-Madina Clinic in Madina of Saudi Arabia.

He treated some of the people who came to this hospital with corona virus. He suffered respiratory distress on Sunday, March 29. Later, he was admitted to the Corona Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia. After examinations, Corona virus was found in his body. He died on Tuesday March 31. 

Doctor Afak Hossain was a talented student of Jhenaidah Cadet College. Later he passed MBBS as a fifth batch student of Sir Salimullah Medical College. He has long time served in Iran with special training in the Orthopedic  Department of Medical Services. He was the eldest of four brothers in his family. His youngest brothers Dr. Abid Hossain Lulu is also employed in the medical profession and Amir Hossain Zillu is Lt. Colonel in Bangladesh Army. 

Doctor Afak Hossain's eldest daughter Bushra Tasnim  lives with her husband in Dhaka while younger daughter Afra Nawar studies in the United States of America. The only son Samuel Soad is a student at the Commercial Pilot Course at Brampton Flight Center in Canada.
