Naragati thana unit Awami League president Khwaja Nazim Uddin died from Kidney and diabetes complications. He was 70. He died under treatment at 3:30 am on early Saturday in Dhaka. Nazim Uddin, also former chairman of Khasial Union Parishad, former secretary of Naragati thana unit Awami League served for a long time as president of Khasial Union AL. He left is his wife, two sons, a daughter, many relatives and well-wishers.
His funeral prayer was held at Putimary Edgah Maidan after Asar prayer on Saturday.After the janaza he was buried at his family graveyard. Upon receiving the news of his death, people from different quarters including fredoom fighters, political parties rushed to his residence at Putimary village in Kalia upazila to see him for the last time and express condolence to the family.
