Nafees Iqbal, the team manager of Khulna Tigers was confident and believes that Mushfiqur Rahim will return to form soon. He said that the wicketkeeper-batsman will not take much time to regain his old form with the willow.
Mushfiqur failed to play up to the mark in the on going BPL.
Mushfiqur scored 6 runs against Minister Dhaka in the first match and 11 runs against Chittagong Challengers. However, the team manager is hopeful for his comeback.
"He is a champion and iconic player. We all know what he can do. There is nothing to worry about his form.
He keeps his process straight. He is one of the best representatives of Bangladesh Cricket and Khulna Tigers. We are confident with him and he will be back soon," said Nafees.
Khulna secured one win and a loss in two matches in the ongoing BPL.
Khulna will play their third match against Chittagong. Nafis was hopeful that their team will turn around in the second round.
"This is a T20 game. It is difficult to predict. I think Chittagong played better than us that's why they won.
But we are a good team and our preparation is good.
The players are also confident. I hope we will turn around in Chittagong. Some of our key players were missing. They will join the team in Chittagong," he added.
