Another schoolboy’s body recovered from debris

Another body of a schoolboy was recovered from debris of the building forty-six hours after the building collapsed in Narayanganj. The deceased was identified as Wazed, 12, son of Rubel Mia of Baburail area under Fatulla thana. He was a class six student. The four-storey building collapsed into a canal on November 3 at Baurail area under Fatulla police station that killed a school student of six grader Shoyaeb, 12, and injured ten on the day of incident.

School student Wazed went into missing from the day of incident. The rescue operation was continued by fire fighters and divers. Deputy Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense Abdullah–Al-Arefin said that the body of schoolboy was under pillar as paste condition. It is learnt that the collapsed building was constructed occupying a portion of canal.

The departments concerned were in mum over the canal grabbing constructed building past days and years. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fatulla Police Station said that the probe body will submit report mentioning reason behind building collapse. Slain school student Soyeeb’s maternal uncle Rony filed a case with Fatulla Model Police Station accusing five- house owners Jebunnesa, and her sons and daughter Azaharuddin, Babu, Sumon and Shewly over the building collapse and killing incident, OC Aslam Hossain confirmed.
