In the monthly crime review meeting of Mymensingh Division, Mymensingh District Police has been nominated as the 'Best District' of the Mymensingh Range due to its overall success in solving warrants, unraveling the mystery of clueless cases, crime suppression activities.
Superintendent of Police Masum Ahmed Bhuiyan received the award of this achievement from DIG Devdas Bhattacharya of Police Mymensingh Range on Tuesday afternoon. Apart from Best District award, Mymensingh District Police also received success awards in Best Circle, Best Thana and Best SI categories in the monthly crime review meeting of February.
It has been reported that Gouripur Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Suman Miah as the 'Best Circle' of the range, Kotwali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shah Kamal Akand as 'Best Police Station' and Muktagacha Police Station SI Kamal Hossain received the ‘Best SI’ award. Kotwali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shah Kamal Akand received the Best Police Station Award as well as a special award in recognition of outstanding operational success.
At this time, Additional DIG (Administration and Finance) Enamul Kabir of Mymensingh Range of Police, Additional DIG (Crime Management and Operations) Abida Sultana, Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Farooq Hossain of Range Office were present.
District Police Superintendent Masum Ahmed Bhuiyan said that every member of the district police is determined to continue this success in the future.
