The luxury ocean-going tourist ship 'MV Bay One' will start its journey on the Chittagong-St Martin route from December 8. Karnaphuli Cruise Line's five-star 7-story luxury cruise departs from Patenga in every Thursday at 10pm and will reach St Martin early Friday morning and stay 1 day 1 night leaving St Martin at 10 am on Saturday and returning to Chittagong in the evening. The fare has also been reduced for the convenience of tourists.
Those who will go to Cox's Bazar without returning to Chittagong, they can go to Auliya by this company's MV Karnaphuli Express and the new MV Bar any day. St. Martin's cruise also offers a view of Prabaldwip, Chherdwip and breathtaking sunsets from the ocean.
Officials of Karnaphuli Cruise Line came out this through a press conference held at the Patenga Water Bus Terminal in Chittagongon Wednesday.
This 400 feet long luxury yacht has central air conditioning facilities. The 1,800-seat ship has several traditional restaurants, ice cream and coffee bars, brand shops, including a seaview and rooftop buffet restaurant, from ordinary chairs to luxurious cabins. It has more than 100 sailors to operate the ship and serve the tourists. Because it has to cross the Bay of Bengal, this ship with international standard maritime safety has all the safety equipment including life jackets and life belts for every passenger. Especially when there are waves in the sea, two fans on the two sides of the bottom of the ship automatically turn on to maintain the balance. As a result, the ship does not sway even in the face of waves.
Considering the passenger service, the ship has been redecorated and the fare has also been reduced slightly compared to the previous seasons. The economy class chair fare of the ship is Tk 4,500 instead of Tk 5,000 round trip and Tk 2,500 instead of Tk 2,800 one way. Open deck round trip is 6 thousand 300 taka instead of 7 thousand 500 and one way is 3 thousand 500 taka instead of 4 thousand 500.
