As part of the ongoing distribution of seheri and iftar items in 41 wards of Chattogram areas food items were recently distributed among Pahartali, Lalkhan Bazar, Alkaron, Firingi Bazar, South Bakalia, Jalalabad wards of the city.
Under the management of Mostafa-Hakim Welfare Foundation & Hossain-Ara Manzur Welfare Trust and the initiative of former Mayor M Manzur Alam, these items were distributed among the poor, destitute and helpless people in every area of 41 wards of the city.
Mostafa-Hakim Group Director and Hossain-Ara Manur Welfare Trust Executive Director Mohammad Sarwar Alam was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Sarwar Alam said “If a fasting person breaks his fast in this month of blessing, mercy is showered on him from the side of the Almighty. That is why we are organizing this in the hope of gaining nearness to Allah and rewards.”
