Following the remand hearing a senior judicial magistrate court in Narayanganj district allowed three days police remand for interrogation to the mother and daughter murder case accused.
The case investigator inspector Sayeeduzzaman prayed for ten days police remand and produced the accused before the court on Wednesday.
A mother and her daughter were slaughtered by a miscreant in a flat at a flat of a six story building of B Das road widely known as Dal potty area under Narayanganj Sadar police station in the town Tuesday evening.
Police recovered the deceased’s bodies are Ruma Chatterjee,46, wife of Ramprashad and her daughter Ritu Chaaterjee,22, who carried on a seven month pregnancy.
Among the three inmates of the time of incidents only escaped Shila wife of Ridoy catterjee, daughter in law of killed Ruma. Both the bodies were slit by sharp weapons, police claimed.
A young man with a knife named Jubayer,24, son of Alauddin resident of Paikpara in the town was captured by police.
The tenants of the six storey building said that the arrested youth pressed all flats calling the bell switch but none opened the door except the incident flat.
Killed Ruma’s husband as well Ritu’s father Ramprashad filed a murder case with Narayanganj police station accusing the arrested young man Jubayer.
Inspector Azizul Islam Hawladar of Narayanganj sadar police station said that the reason behind killing yet not found but the arrested said that if he had pistol to kill all. He killed the atheist ( Kafer).
Additional police super Amir Khosru said that the main reason would be found after thorough interrogation. Because the accused gave us primarily unsettled information.
