Newly constructed building for Muktijoddha Complex has been inaugurated at Sadar upazila of Natore district. Natore-2 MP Shafiqul Islam Shimul unveiled the building constructed by Natore LGED on Thursday. The estimated project cost is Tk 2.48 crore.
Natore Deputy Commissioner Md Shahriaz presided the programme where Natore Municipality Mayor Uma Choudhury Joli was present as special guest. LGED Executive Engineer Shahidul Islam, Natore Sadar UNO Md Jahangir Alam, Natore Awami League President Advocate Sirajul Islam, Secretary Akramul Islam, former Natore Freedom Fighter Sangsad commander Abdur Rauf Sarker, former deputy commander Habibur Rahman, and others also attended the programme. Speakers during the programme thanked all the freedom fighters for their valiant sacrifice for the country in Liberation War. More facilities will be brought upon for the distressed freedom fighters across the country, speakers assured.
