Muksudpur Club in Gopalganj plants 20,000 saplings

In Gopalganj district 20 thousand trees planting and distribution program has been carried out. A voluntary organization named Muksudpur Club organizes this program.

This program was organized and financed by Muksudpur Club at Rakta Karbi Manch at Gopalganj Lake Park on Monday at 2:30 pm.

Under the program, twenty thousand fruit, forest and medicinal tree saplings will be planted and distributed in five upazilas of the district.

Gopalganj District Commissioner Shahida Sultana inaugurated the tree planting and distribution program. Gopalganj Upazila Social Service Officer Sultana Zahid Parveen, Muksudpur Club President Mahabub Babu, Office Secretary Sentu Sheikh, Volunteers Sujan Sikder, Rudra Mohammad Russell, Arman Khan Joy, Rezaul Karim Reza, Prabhas Sarkar, Saudi expatriate Giyas Uddin, Rakib Mollah, Mostafiz Khandaker and others.

We do various kinds of humanitarian work including blood donation, financial support and distribution of educational materials to poor and talented students, food-clothing-medical care for the residents of old age homes, all assistance to the disabled. 

\Today, in continuation of that, we have started the objective of planting twenty thousand fruit, forest and medicinal trees in five upazilas of the district in Gopalganj Sadar upazila. These trees will be planted in empty spaces, mosques and temples in the upazilas.

Apart from this, tree saplings will be distributed among the students of various educational institutions of the district.
