Chief Representative in Dhaka Office of Mitsubishi UFJ Bank Ltd. (MUFG), Japan Hideaki Kojima on Wednesday paid a curtesy call on Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman today at the latter’s office on the campus. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral issues specially the on-going MUFG Scholarship Programme for DU students. Hideaki Kojima informed the DU VC that every year MUFG gives scholarship to 30 meritorious students of DU.
In continuation of the scholarship programme, MUFG has a plan to distribute scholarships among DU students at a function to be held on January 30 in 2020 at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban at Dhaka University.
