MP Robi tested Covid-19 positive

Satkhira Sadar MP Mir Mostaq Ahmed Robi has been infected with corona virus (Covid-19).  Recently, when corona symptoms appeared, samples were collected and sent to the PCR lab of Khulna Medical College Hospital. His report came positive on Sunday (July 12) evening. Satkhira Health Department has confirmed the matter.

Meanwhile, family sources said that on Monday (July 13) morning, MP Mir Mostaq Ahmed Robi left Satkhira for Dhaka for better treatment. He wished blessings from all.

Meanwhile, Satkhira Civil Surgeon Dr Hussain Safayet said the first case of corona virus was detected in the country on March 8. In Satkhira, a patient infected with corona was identified on April 26, but the official diagnosis was made on April 30. Although the number of infections is low in the beginning, it gradually increases. As of July 4, 2020, the number of corona patients identified was 192.

 However, on July 12, 2020, Satkhira had a total of 384 people, including a maximum of 44 victims in one day. On the other hand, the relatives and doctors of the patient were disappointed that the PCR lab was not set up in Satkhira even though the corona infection triggered in the body of the people of the district. 

According to the Civil Surgeon's Office, on 12 July, a total of 384 people, were tested of which 44 were found positive, and 147 found  as normal, and 5 died of corona infection.
