General Manager of Bangladesh Railway West Mihir Kanti Guha said that the development work of Bangladesh Railway is going on all over the country as announced by the Government, with the objective of establishing Bangladesh as a model and developed country.
He said this while inspecting the ongoing development activities of Dinajpur Railway Station on Saturday noon.
After inspecting the development work of Dinajpur railway station, the GM visited Thakurgaon and Panchagarh.
Chief Commercial Manager Md. Ahsan Ullah Bhuiyan, Chief Engineer Alfattah Md. Masudur Rahman, Divisional Railway Manager Shri Tapas Kumar Das, Divisional Traffic Superintendent Anisur Rahman and others were also present on the occasion.
Later, Railway West General Manager Mihir Kanti Guha inaugurated a solar power plant costing Tk 10 lakh. Woman MP Zakia Tabassum Jui was present at the time. She called for continuning development work.
