Lawmaker of Jhenaidah-2 constituency (Jhenaidah and Harinakundu) Tahjib Alam Siddiquee Somi distributed food items among 300 jobless labourers caught in the global havoc corona virus on Friday. He distributed the relief materials at Pobahati play ground in the town.
Ruling Bangladesh Awmi League Jhenidah municipality unit president Jiban Kumar Biswas, Sramik League district unit president Akkas Ali and general secretary Ekramul Haque Lku among others remain present during the time.
The lawmaker said the government of the Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina had committed to ensure food and other assistance among the needy people in crisis hours. AS the country was caught in the global pandemic, and the day labourers have been passing hard time for want of food and other items. To stand by them, he had stood by them to ease their sufferings partially.
Siddiquee said ruling AL with its committed activists will always stand by the people when the PM has been leading the country towards a dignified Bangladesh as desired by the Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
When contacted, a number of day labourer family members had expressed their satisfaction and prayed for the salvation of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and desired continuous leadership of his success daughter PM Sheikh Hasina.
