Access to information (a2i) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Textile University (BUTEX) to tackle the challenges of the 4th industrial revolution. The aim of this MoU is to create a skilled labour force for the textile industry, train well qualified middle class managers, provide job opportunities for fresh graduates as well as hold a job fair jointly.
Registrar Professor Md Monirul Islam signed the MoU on behalf of BUTEX and Project Director Md Mostafizur Rahman signed on behalf of a2i at Agargaon’s ICT Division office.
Vice Chancellor of BUTEX Professor Md Abul Kashem was present as the chief guest. He said that the signing of the MoU will ensure a skilled labour force for the textile industry and will also improve the quality of education at BUTEX. Both parties pledged mutual cooperation to ensure quality education for students.
