A motorcyclist was killed as a vehicle hit the motorcycle carrying him at Kalihati in Tangail on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Dulal Mia, 65, son of Hafez Uddin, resident of Kalihati.
Quoting locals, Elenga Highway Police Sergeant Sayrul Islam said a vehicle hit the motorcycle carrying Dulal Mia near to Kalihati Bus Stand at afternoon when he was going to his house from Ghatail, leaving him dead on the spot. Family members of the deceased rescued the body and took it to his house. The legal procedure in this connection was ongoing.
