A motorcyclist was killed in a road crash on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Jaypura area in Dhamrai, on the outside of the capital on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Atiyar Mollah, 35, son of Kayer Mollah, hailed from Krishna Nagar village under Sadar police station of Faridpur district. So far as know, he belongs to a tailor shop at Ondho Songstha Market in Savar.
Confirming the matter, Sazzad Karim, Oc, Savar highway police station said, the incident took place around 9:30 am on Tuesday morning, while a Paturia-bound passenger bus collided with the motorcycle, causes the man to die on the spot.
“The man basically was coming towards Savar from his native village Faridpur plying his own motorcycle”, Oc said, adding that a case has been filed regarding the incident.
