Chairman of No. 20 Gobra Union Parishad under Gopalganj Sadar Upazila Safiqur Rahman Chowdhury (Tutul) on Saturday night organised a reception programme for mothers of distinguished children on the occasion of the Mujib Barsho.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Gopalganj Shahida Sultana addressed the reception programme as the chief guest. Expressing her support to the event, she called upon to honour such excellent mothers in every union of the country.
District Awami League General Secretary Mahbub Ali Khan addressed the function as a special guest under the chairmanship of Gopalganj District Council Chairman Chowdhury Emdadul Haque. Seventeen mother of distinguished child in Gobra Union were given crests at the time.
