Alhaj Mostafa-Hakim Charity Hospital was started in the year 2002 at Star Building in Munshurabad city under the initiative of former mayor of Chattogram City Corporation M. Manjur Alam and under the management of Alhaj Mostafa-Hakim Welfare Foundation.
This free medical service program has been running for more than two decades. In line with this, medical care has been modernized recently. More disease tests are added. The pathology center was enriched and expanded. Doctors and skilled technicians have been appointed. The inauguration ceremony of the modern hospital Mostafa Hakim Diabetic Care Center was held on Friday afternoon.
Mohammad Sarwar Alam, director of Mustafa-Hakim Group, was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
North Agrabad Ward Awami League President Syed Md. Zakaria, Mostafa-Hakim Diabetics Care Center Supervisor Dr. Md. Abdul Mabud were present as special guests.
Chief guest Sarwar Alam said, Alhaj Mustafa-Hakim Welfare Foundation is an institution dedicated to the welfare of humanity. Currently, this foundation is running 88 institutions including mosques, madrasas, temples, hospitals, schools, colleges.
This charitable hospital has been running for the past twenty years in continuity. Currently this medical center has been further modernized. Added several more tests. Medical services and examination programs will be conducted here at low cost for all. There will be special arrangements for poor indigent patients.
Medical allowance is given to indigent sick elderly people in Kattoli every month. Free oxygen service has been given to corona patients during the corona period. A modern Corona Isolation Center was also launched.
