Mosharraf’s ‘Hubba’ this month

Popular Bangladeshi actor Mosharraf Karim-starrer second Tollywood film “Hubba” will be released in theatres on 19 January. The film is directed by noted Kolkata’s director Bratya Basu, based on “Hubba Shyamal”, the top terrorist of Hooghly, West Bengal. The movie depicts the changing political situation and criminal world. Mosharraf Karim has played title role in the project.

In the meantime, the trailer of the movie has been released. The trailer shows the crime of Hubba Shyamal, who kills any one with silly matter and after each murder he arranges a party. Hubba dominates drug trade and extortion. After the trailer, the title song of the movie was released on Monday. Silajit Majumdar and Dhee Majumdar have lent their voice to the song. Suprotim Sarkar and Bratya Basu have jointly written the lyrics of the song while Prabuddha Banerjee has arranged the music.

The movie is likely to release in Bangladesh on the same day as West Bengal. Bangladeshi production house and distribution company Jaaz Multimedia is trying to import the movie.

After Mosharraf Karim’s “Hubba” in January, Jaya Ahsan-starrer Tollywood film “Bhoot Pori” will be released in February. The Soukarya Ghosal–directed movie will hit theatre on 9 February.

The shooting of this movie 

was completed before Corona pandemic. However, the production company Surinder Films did not release the movie due to various complications.

After a long wait, the release date was announced on Monday. The story of “Bhoot Pori” is made with the fear and mystery of bhoot (ghost). The motion poster of the film has also been released recently.

In the poster, Jaya Ahsan is seen sitting with her legs hanging on a tree branch. She has two wings on her back. Jaya shared the poster on her Facebook page with a caption on Monday. “Humans become ghosts when they die, but if a ghost dies, would he become an angel”?, the caption reads.     

Besides directing, the screenplay has been written by the Soukarya Ghosal himself. The film also stars Ritwick Chakraborty, Sudipta Chakraborty, Shantilal Mukherjee and others.
