Noted actor Mosharraf Karim and director Golam Sohrab Dodul have collaborated for a web series for the first time titled ‘Mobaroknama’. Mosharraf Karim has played the lead role Mobarok in the eight-episode series.
The shooting of the series has already been completed. The post-production of ‘Mobaroknama’ is now going on in Kolkata. Apart from Mosharraf Karim, Shabnam Faria, Shahnaz Sumi and others will be seen in the project.
“The character I have portrayed is quite different. The role is about a lawyer who first wins, then he realises that he has lost. Since then he has been going through an internal battlewith himself. This is a complex character with depth in it”, told Mosharraf Karim while talking to the media about the series.
Dodul said, “The series was planned a year ago. I thought of Mosharraf Karim in the series from the beginning. We have discussed a lot about the story of ‘Mobaroknama’ and developed the storyline.
I hope the audience will get to watch something different.”
Mosharraf Karim was recently seen in Dodul’s directorial plays ‘Taka Tumi Kar’, ‘Bhagyarekha’ and ‘Shohore Ondhokar’.
‘Mobaroknama’ will be released on the Indian OTT platform Hoichoi.
