Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Talukder Abdul Khaleque said the government was working to prevent coronavirus. Not everything is possible for the government alone. This disaster must be tackled collectively. The government is already making the use of masks compulsory. Masks are very effective in combating coronavirus.
Jass Telecom Ltd and Jass Global Ltd organized a programme at the Khulna Press Club on Wednesday with the theme 'Prevention is better than cure’. He said this while inaugurating the month-long spray programme.
Mayor of Khulna City Corporation Talukder Abdul Khaleque inaugurated a month-long spray programme in Khulna on Wednesday.
He said, “Coronavirus infection is increasing day by day in Khulna. We will be able to get rid of this crisis if we can follow the government's instructions including wearing a mask, avoiding public gatherings and maintaining social distance.” The mayor called upon the concerned people to continue the program at the bus stand, railway station and other public gatherings.
Khulna city Awami League General Secretary MDA Babul Rana, Press Club President SM Nazrul Islam, Jas Telecom in-charge Md Abdul Halim, Jessore Zonal Manager Md Hasanur Rahman, Khulna Zonal Manager Md Mortaza Al Mamun, Md Abdur Rahman and Team Leader Md Saidur Rahman were present.
