Ramadan is the month of fasting. Every work has more importance in this month. There is a peace in having Iftar with people. Like every year, this time too ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury's foundation has organized a month-long iftar and sehri distribution. City Awami League leader Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor distributed Iftar among helpless, poor and distressed people.
In the afternoon on the 1st day of Ramadan, Iftar is distributed in various streets including Nandankanan, Enayat Bazar in the city.
City Awami League leader Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor said, this Ramadan, peace of soul is found in feeding people. I distribute Iftar every year, following the ideals of Chattalbir ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury. Chattalbir was the leader of the people. He thought about every advantage and disadvantage of the people. In continuation of this, I always try to be with the helpless, poor and miserable pedestrians during the month of Ramadan.
