The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in 58 battalion of Moheshpur in Jhenaidah have arrested five Bangladeshi nationals in separate drives for bordering area on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
They were arrested while they were returning Bangladesh from neighboring India illegally, said the BGB sources.
BGB 58 battalion assistant director Nazrul Islam Khan quoting their battalion Director Lieutenant Colonel Qamrul Ahsan said the five had entered in to Bangladesh territory through Shyamkura and Baghdanaga border areas.
The arrested were identified as Price Sheikh, 21, and Munna Mollah, 18, Raqib Sheikh, 16, Asma Begum, 40, of village Shitalpati and Mukti Rani Biswas, 30, of village Bandahabaria in Lohagora upazila in Narail.
