Mobile courts in Jhenaidah have fined one lakh for ignoring health rules including not-wearing of face masks during corona infestations. The mobile courts were conducted since Wednesday morning in the town.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Manira Begum said they have been creating awareness among the people against the global havoc Coronavirus and wear face masks and maintain safe distances during movement. The mobile courts were conducted at Arappur, Pairachatter, central bus terminal and some other places in the district. It will continue until and unless the government’s new directions are issued.
Deputy Director of local government, Yearul Islam, additional deputy commissioner (ADC general) Selim Reza, ADC (revenue) Salma Selim and upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) in Jhenaidah Sadar SM Shahin participated in the courts.
