‘Mobile CDR and Tracking’ workshop held at CMP

A training workshop on mobile CDR and tracking has been organized by the Southern Division of the Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) to enhance the skills of PSIs in crime control. The workshop was held at the conference hall of the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) on Monday morning.

 The training workshop was inaugurated by Chattogram Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Operations) Md Shamsul Alam.

  He said, "Through the workshop, the trainees will be able to learn how to identify criminals by analyzing mobile data."  This will facilitate crime control.  Which will play an important role in their future careers.

 CMP Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Pankaj Dutta trained the trainees in the workshop.  Chattogram Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Vijay Basak presided over the function.  Other senior CMP officials and trainees were also present. It is to be mentioned that CMP is currently taking several projects to modernise the department. To curb down the crime rate, such efforts will be regularly taken, CMP officials added.
