Police recovered the slaughtered body of a 10-year child from a bamboo storm of the east side of Paikerdol Puratonpara area under Sadar upazila on Saturday, seven days after went missing. The deceased was identified as Hasan Ali, son of farmer Mozahar Ali Moza, hailed from the aforesaid area.
According to locals and police, workers were working in the bamboo storm of Ripon which was adjacent to Paikerdol area. At that time, they found slaughtered body of Hasan Ali and called the police. Deceased's uncle Liton identified the body.
Quoting the parents of the child, Additional Police Super of Natore Sadar Circle Abul Hasnat said after hearing the news we rushed to the spot. Hasan went missing on December 29 last year. The investigation is going on, he added.
