Azahar Ali, former official of National Security and Intelligence, is being threatened to be killed by some local miscreants at his house of Kellabarupara area under Godagari upazila of Rajshahi district, complained Afroza Akhter Mimi, daughter of Azhar, at a press conference held at Rajshahi Press Club on Saturday noon. Mimi also complained that as a sequel of rivalry over land dispute, the miscreants attacked the house of her father.
Mimi at the press conference complained, miscreants including Israfil , Badal, Sharif and Mintu of Kellabaruipara area attacked their house and threatened them to kill. Aftermath of the threat, the miscrants have started to build a boundary wall surrounding their land despite a case is pending with the court over the possession of the land and the court also imposed Section-144 banning any construction on the disputed land.
Mimi informed, the miscreants were constructing boundary wall in violation of the court order and they were regularly threatening them. His father, a former NSI official has suffered a brain stroke following such tense situation. Mimi sought an immediate intervention of the local administration to take action against the responsible miscreants and to stop any construction works on the disputed land.
ABM Masud Hossain, Superintendent of Police of Rajshahi in this connection said, every one should obey the order of the court and assured to take proper action in this connection as soon as possible.
