Miscreants fell over 100 dragon plants in Moheshpur

Unknown miscreants in the night of Monday had fell down over 100 dragon plants enriched with huge bearings. The miscreants also had theft the fruits from the plants weighing four maund for an amount of Taka one and a half lakh, said affected farmer, a retired BGB personnel Kamal Hossain of Alampur village.

Kamal Hossain said he had transplanted dragon on his 15 decimals of land at his bordering village land which got mature with fruits. The unknown miscreants had fallen down the plants and theft the fruits during the night. The matter was noticed to him by the neighbors on Tuesday morning.

He alleged some Imran Hossain, Rajan Mia, Sabbir Hossain and Abdur Rahim along with some others had entered in to his dragon plot in the night a few days back. When the villagers had chased them all of them had managed to leave the plot, while Imran was caught on the spot. He was released in after a village mediation when he had promised not to commit any anti social activities in near and far future. To take the revenge, Imran might fell his fruits during the night, Kamal Hossain said.

Moheshpur police station officer in charge Salim Mia when contacted said no one had filed any case in this regards so far. The police might take action if anyone files the complaint with the police.
