Bangladesh team is playing a two days warm-up match among themselves as preparation ahead of the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka at Chilaw Marians Cricket Club Ground, Katuanayake. The batsmen of the red team showed their dominance with the bat on the first day of the two-day preparation match. Green team is batting on the second day, posted 89 for 3 wickets before Lunch.
Green team were in trouble as the opener Sadman Islam was out for 19 runs, Test captain Mominul Haque was out for a naught and Liton Das returned with 27 runs voluntarily. Besides, Yasir Ali Rabbi returned for 15 runs.
Mohammad Mithun remained unbeaten for 19 runs at the crease and Shubhagata Hom scored 5 runs. Mehedi Hasan Miraz took 2 wickets for the red team.
Earlier, the top-order four-batsman of the red team made half-centuries; at the end of the day the red team collected 314 runs for 6 wickets. Tamim Iqbal, Saif Hassan, Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim scored half centuries for the team.
