Miraz replaces Shakib in T20

Players from  Bangladesh T20 squad are set to join the team in Kanpur. Consequently, the squad for the three-match series was announced on Saturday. All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz is making a return to the team. With Shakib Al Hasan retiring from T20 cricket, Miraz will now feature in all three formats.

According to a source from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), top-order batsman Parvez Hossain Emon is also making a comeback to the 15-member squad, replacing Soumya Sarkar. Additionally, left-arm spinner Rakibul Hasan has been included.

The rest of the squad comprises Nazmul Hossain Shanto (Captain), Litton Kumar Das, Tanjid Hasan Tamim, Towhid Hridoy, Zakir Ali, Mahmudullah Riyad, Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib.

Bangladesh will play the first T20 match against India in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on 6th October. The remaining two matches are scheduled to be held in Delhi on 9th October and Hyderabad on 12th October.
